Hi! I’m Tania, a Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor.
I have over 20 years’ experience providing evidence-based interventions across a wide range of mental health presentations. For many years I worked at a leading IVF Clinic, providing supportive counselling for patients contemplating or undergoing treatment, as well as implications counselling for couples or individuals considering donor conception. I have also worked in several services within the public sector, with the highlight being able to provide longer-term psychotherapy to parents experiencing distress and parent–infant attachment challenges.
I really enjoy mentoring early career clinicians, and currently I provide supervision to clinicians pursuing further training in perinatal mental health at Gidget Foundation Australia; a not-for-profit organisation that supports the mental health of expectant, new and potential parents.
Alongside my main areas of interest I also see adult clients in my private practice for general psychology conditions such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, loss and grief, and trauma.
Outside of the therapy room I love a good musical and being in nature; especially a long bushwalk with a waterfall or a majestic tree to hug!
